  • The Other Bennet Sister. What does anyone remember about Mary Bennet, the middle child of Pride and Prejudice’s pack of Bennet sisters? If you’re a close reader, it’s nothing nice. But this BBC adaptation of Janice Harlow’s 2020 novel gives Mary a little credit in the form of a light yet thoughtful romantic comedy that is bound to delight fans of Austen-adjacent fiction.

  • The Bear. A surprise episode of this Hulu hit dropped on Tuesday ahead of the fourth season, and main character Carmy Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) is completely absent. The result is one of the best episodes that the show has seen in a long time.
